June Race Update - Beacon & Olympia Super-D #1

Trevor Louviere made the trek out to Spokane to round out a killer 7th place finish in the super-competitive 19-29 Expert Men category - Great job Trevor!

For the Friends of Capitol Forest Super-D Race #1, Daniel Myers (picture above - courtesy of Friend of Capitol Forest), Damon Flemming, and Johnny Chen bypassed a burning tanker, an overturned car, and dodged a logging machine on a forest road to make it to the race… Daniel finished 9th in the combined Pro/Expert class while Johnny and Damon finished 15th and 18th respectively in the Sport 18-39 class.

[2007-05-05] - Near Mount Hood, OR.

SMDH made the first appearance on the race circuit this year with a primer at the SuperD at Mount Hood in Oregon - the race venue itself was a cozy affair and it was great being in the scene again after a long PacNW winter layoff. The trail itself was *mint* and everybody I chatted with was stoked about the course - aside from the dropping temperatures we felt at the top that is…

Three of us made the trip down and Daniel Myers netted us one podium result with a 3rd place finish in the 30-39 Sport Men category.
